The AWA Charity Awards Coffee is an annual event held by the American Women’s Association (AWA) with support from the AmCham Charitable Foundation, providing financial assistance to smaller and lesser-known charities aiming to help children, the elderly, and disadvantaged people with health and special needs. This year marks the 11th year of AmCham’s collaboration with the AWA. The event was held successfully by AmCham on June 2 at The American Club, with donations totaling HK$300,552 pledged to five charities.

Attendees included Marcy LaRont (AWA President), Kurt Tong (U.S. Consul General), Tom Hodges (U.S. Deputy Consul General), and Peter Levesque (AmCham Charitable Foundation Chairman). AmCham is delighted to support these organizations including Integrated Brilliant Education Trust (IBET), The Spastics Association of Hong Kong (SAHK), Justice Center Hong Kong, Project Concern Hong Kong, and LoveXpress Foundation Ltd.
