(Webcast updated)Hong Kong Financial Secretary Reiterates Strength of U.S.-HK Trade


Addressing an audience in Washington D.C. at an Oct 16 luncheon hosted by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan reiterated the strength of U.S.-HK trade, and provided an overview of HK’s economic growth over the past 20 years. He cited Hong Kong’s commitment to free trade, rule of law, tax-friendly policies, and new opportunities presented by Bay Area development as key reasons for the city’s continued success.
