AmCham is dedicated to reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a "gateway into and out of China”. An executive workforce is designated to formulate and implement AmCham’s overall China agenda. The Chamber organizes business briefings and business delegations to keep members informed of the latest development and business opportunities in China, expand the Chinese business network, while at the same time assist Chinese companies to go global.

Throughout the year, AmCham arranges meetings with Chinese government leadership at different levels and organizing site visits to difference projects or companies to deepen member knowledge on China’s investment policies and the environment in different parts of China. The Chamber also leads senior delegations throughout the year to participate in conferences and events in various provinces and cities with up-to-date Chinese development themes. 


The Beijing Doorknock is the signature mission of AmCham to visit all the major Chinese Central Government authorities related to Hong Kong & Macau Affairs, trade, finance, research, etc. This mission provides members with an opportunity to have direct dialogue with Chinese government leaders and to gain insight on the latest social and economic developments related to Hong Kong and U.S.-China relations.
