
Kam Shing Kwang
Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong & Chair, North Asia
Kam Shing Kwang is the Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong and Chair for North Asia at J.P. Morgan. With over 30 years of experience in financial services—including private banking, asset management, and investment banking—she is a member of the firm’s Asia Pacific Management Committee and APAC Banking Management Team.
Since joining J.P. Morgan in 1998, Kam Shing has played a key role in driving collaboration across business lines to meet clients’ corporate and personal wealth management needs. Her previous leadership positions include Vice Chair of Investment Banking for Greater China (2019–2024) and CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Asia (2017–2023). She also served as CEO for J.P. Morgan Hong Kong (2016–2018), overseeing local governance and controls.
Kam Shing is a recognized industry advisor, having served on Hong Kong’s Banking Advisory Committee (2016–2022). She has been honored as one of Asia’s leading female private bankers by Global Investor Magazine, among the top twelve most influential female bankers in Asia by Finews.asia, and as the most influential female leader in Asia by The Digital Banker.
She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honors) from the National University of Singapore/Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Kam Shing also contributes to the industry through advisory board roles with The Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific Leadership Council, the Hong Kong Academy of Wealth Legacy, Les Lumières de Paris (Hong Kong Chapter), as well as the HKUST Business School, Nanyang Business School and Singapore Management University’s Wealth Management Program.
