Tim Sypko is the Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL). He leads HKDL, overseeing all aspects of the park and its hotels while driving strategies for growth and innovation.

Tim began his Disney career in 1990 at Walt Disney World and has held diverse leadership roles in operations, workforce management, and guest experience development. He contributed to major milestones such as the opening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the launch of FastPass+.

Since 2020, Tim served as Senior Vice President of Operations at HKDL, guiding the resort through significant expansion — including the Castle of Magical Dreams, World of Frozen, and the launch of HKDL’s 20th anniversary celebrations. Under his leadership, the resort achieved record-breaking business results and exceptional guest satisfaction. His commitment to cast culture and operational excellence positions him to lead HKDL into its next era of growth.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Southern College and a management certificate from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business.
