Purpose and Objectives
The Education Committee is established to promote and enhance the educational ecosystem in Hong Kong by fostering innovation, supporting talent development, and strengthening collaboration among members of AmCham HK. The Committee will advocate for policies, create resources, and identify opportunities that contribute to Hong Kong’s standing as a leading international education hub.
- Advocacy: Champion education’s role in talent development and engage with policymakers on sector-specific issues.
- Community Outreach: Establish platforms for meaningful interaction with diverse stakeholders, promoting partnerships that strengthen Hong Kong’s standing as an international education hub.
- Thought Leadership: Share insights on global education trends and key updates from Hong Kong’s education sector.
- Network Building: Foster connections among parents, stakeholders concerned with developing talent, and PK-12 to postgraduate educators through events and collaborative initiatives.
- Talent Development: Support initiatives that align education with industry needs to prepare a skilled workforce for Hong Kong’s economy.
