New Board Leadership Announced for the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong

Hong Kong – Thursday November 28, 2024 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (“AmCham”) is pleased to announce its newly nominated Board of Governors for 2025, following the recommendations of the Nominating Committee upon approval at its recent General Meeting held on November 22, 2024.  

Effective from January 1, 2025, the Board of Governors is committed  to supporting the Chamber’s initiatives and its Members amidst a rapidly evolving business landscape. The elected Directors are:

The newly elected Board of Governors is expected to boost AmCham’s standing through a shared experience gained from industries that span multiple sectors, ensuring that the Chamber continues to advocate effectively for its members and promote business opportunities inherent to AmCham’s mission of serving its membership base in Hong Kong and beyond.

Chairman-elect, David Butts, is the current President Asia Pacific & Group Executive Vice President of Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd. (TTI), a Hang Seng Index constituent stock and a global leader in professional, industrial and  DIY power tools solutions said: “I am honoured to be elected as Chairman of AmCham to support the growth of our members and our local and international business community. I am delighted to play a part in advocating for our members to ensure the continued growth and collaboration of AmCham in Hong Kong.”

The Board’s first event will be the 2025 Chairman’s Inaugural Luncheon on Tuesday January 14, 2025 where all members will be able to network and share ideas on how to collaborate and address the evolving dynamics that will impact AmCham members.
